Meet John, the Crazy Fish Guy
People think I’m crazy because I’m willing to share my years of fishing expertise with the world. Even better — I’ve got GPS coordinates! Over 4,823 verified fishing and diving spots – the places no one else will even talk about for Grouper, Cobia, Amberjack, Red Snapper, Giant Barracuda, King Mackerel. Got sport fishing on your mind? Dude, it’s on mine ALL the time. Check out my photo gallery of the Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, King Mackerel and other great sport fish I’ve been catching.
Although I live in Tallahassee, FL which is much too far from the water a half hour or more, I fish in as many different areas as I can. I have a 17 1/2 foot 1965 Wellcraft with 115hp Johnson and a 1954 Martin “75″ we use for trolling. (Keep reading it goes on, go down to the bottom of the picture - honest)
I have been restoring the Wellcraft for the last 2 years. (Of course we all know that’s a never ending project but don’t tell my wife she doesn’t know.) With no help from Wellcraft in any way, no information, no picture nothing not even a good luck. Anyway, I do this so I can verify the different spots for fishing and diving. See I’m not restoring the boat for fun or to go fishing and diving I’m doing it for business. Perfectly justifiable, it is just for business right? I try to dive the spots at least once so I can see if its really there and whats really down there. Ever wish you could catch a Giant Goliath Grouper? I know several personally and have been to their houses, not good house keepers, their houses were all wrecks! Sorry, we shouldn’t talk down about our buddies.
Oh yea fishing and diving spots yea yea that’s right. Sometimes I get side tracked I’ll try to stick with it.
When you have a limited time for fishing you must have enough spots to go to because if you’re not catching something you’re not in the right spot. No ifs ands or buts you need to move. Fish eat constantly in spite of what some people will tell you. They eat when it’s raining, sunny, windy or calm. You just have to find them. You may have to change tacktics but they are somwhere gorging them selfs silly and that’s one way I can help I HAVE GPS SPOTS – LOTS OF THEM. Email me at john@crazyfishguy.com Let’s see what we can do. Also check out our tips and tricks. Don’t forget pay close attention to rules and regs they change in Florida constantly and with out notice. Vent your fish before releasing it ‘s the law besides I like to catch him when your done. Catch and release is not just for fishing nerds any one can do it. KEEP A TIGHT LINE AND BOW TO THE JUMPER!!!
